Everyone likes getting something for free. It’s even better getting free stuff in the mail. It’s like Christmas or Amazon prime without the bill. Influenster has been my way of achieving this. I’ll share some boxes I’ve received recently, as well as some tips for how to get boxes for yourself! (Click here to check out an old post with some boxes I received in the past.)
Kohls VoxBox
This might actually have been one of the best “boxes” I have received, even though it wasn’t actually a box. And it didn’t actually include any items. Instead it was a $20 giftcard to Kohls. Which meant I got to go shopping! Brax had been needing new tennis shoes so it was perfect timing. After checking with some other mom friends, one of the best first tennis shoes for toddlers is Stride Rite brand and lucky for me they had them at Kohls. So I was able to get him some new kicks for free!
Uncle Ben’s VoxBox
This box included a full size Uncle Ben’s Flavor Infusions Chicken & Herb Rice. That’s one of my favorite things about Influenster. Most of the products are full size so you can really try out the products. This wasn’t the best tasting rice I’ve ever had, but it was super easy to make and took only 10 minutes. So as a side dish, it works!
(I made some ground turkey, steamed vegetables, and mixed it all together with the rice. Super delicious, especially with some avocado mixed it!)
Clarins VoxBox
This box included a 7 day trial of Clarins Double Serum: The Next Generation. I loved this serum! It made my skin feel so amazing, and I thought it was better then getting a facial. Unfortunately when I looked it up, the full size serum cost over $80. So I won’t be buying it. BUT if I got any more for free, I will definitely use it!
Tips for getting a VoxBox:
- Fill out your profile completely. These boxes are sent out by companies looking for a specific “target audience.” For example, the company might be looking to sell to moms with young kids. So putting down as much as you can will help Influenster decide who to send boxes to.
- Connect your social media accounts. The higher your “score”, the more likely you’ll get chosen. The idea is that your opinion will reach more people.
- Fill out reviews on Influenster, even for products you haven’t received but have tried anyways. The more you review, Influenster will see your account as more “active.”
- When you receive a box, complete all the reviews and any other surveys about the product. These aren’t required, but you are more likely to receive another box if you complete the “badge.” (Plus if you complete the badge, you are entered to win another product from that company automatically. Like for the Kohls Voxbox if you completed the badge, you are entered to win a $100 giftcard. This is only eligible for the people who received the box in the first place and completed the badge.)
- Complete all the “snap surveys”, these help the program gauge your interests.
