Valentine’s has changed for me over the years. When I was in high school and college it used to be all about the chocolate, flowers and fancy dates. Now that I’m married with kids, I enjoy giving to the ones I love more then receiving. I’ve put together a list of ideas for the different people you love with links to some examples. (If you want more ideas, check out my Amazon Store under “Valentine Gifts.”)
Baby:
- Valentine Teethers/Pacifiers
- Valentine Outfits (Boys & Girls)
- Valentine Board Books
- Valentine Toys
Toddler/Preschoolers:
- Valentine Books
- Valentine Coloring Books
- Valentine Outfits (Boys & Girls)
- Valentine Toy
Mom (Either treat yourself, or send some hints to your significant other):
- Valentine Mini Photo Shoot (Mom’s never have enough photos with their kids, let alone good photos. We are usually the ones behind the camera, not in front of it. A mini photoshoot with your kids to remember this stage of life is priceless.)
- Kendra Scott (Kendra Scott gives a 50% off discount for your birthday month. My husband’s birthday is February 11th. So every year he gets a KS jewelry for Valentine’s Day using his discount. Win-win for both of us.)
- Leggings (New mom loungewear is the best!)
- Mani/Pedi Gift Card (Mom’s need pampering too.)
Dad:
- Rodeo Tickets (I get Blair and I concert tickets every year. His love language is experiences over material objects.)
- Back Massager
- Basket of favorites: beer, candy, beef jerky, boxers, etc.
- Gifts for their hobby (For example, Blair loves working out. So one year I got him a new Kettle Bell.)
Your Galentine:
- Heart Waffle Maker
- Valentine Shirt
- Starbucks Cup filled with candy and a Target gift card
- Comfy PJ’s or a Cozy Blanket
Hope you all have an amazing Valentine’s Day with your loved ones! (Check out this Valentine blog post of mine from 3 years ago!)
