I was planning on just writing Kaley’s 7th month update, but I figured a whole life update would be better!

Kaley’s 7 month update:

  • Kaley’s first word was mama, but she is saying dada now as well.
  • She’s trying to crawl, but mostly just going in circles or backwards.
  • Eating 3 “meals” a day, an afternoon snack, and nursing 5 times a day. (She still nurses 2 times at night as well.)
  • Napping 3 times a day, and on a consistent schedule including bedtime now. She is also sleeping in her own room now.
  • Still refusing a bottle, so I will be introducing a sippy cup soon for water.
  • Sitting up completely on her own.
  • No teeth yet!
  • Wearing size 9-12 month.

Braxton’s Life Update:

  • Completely daytime potty trained now. Still working on nighttime. (Click here for the potty training post if you missed it!)
  • He is on 4 wait lists for preschools and we are hoping he will get into one of them this school year, but if not then definitely for the 2020-2021 school year.
  • He can count to ten and we are working on the whole alphabet. Attempting to “home school” a little each day to get him ready.
  • Wearing a size 4/5T or kids XS/S. (It has made me so emotional that he can wear “kid” clothes now, and has moved out of the toddler section.)

My Life Update:

  • I had gained a total of 44 pounds while pregnant with Kaley. I have lost 36 pounds of that.
  • Working out 5 times a week, but honestly I do need to get more strict on my eating habits. (Abs are made in the kitchen!)
  • We are planning a few small trips in the near future. First one will be going to Houston at the end of the month!
  • Blair turns 33 next week, and I turn 32 next month. (It sounds so old…)
  • I have began a new journey with LiketoKnowit! Click here to check it out and follow me. My style and purchases are perfect if you are like me and have that #champagnetasteonabeerbudget ! (I also post and link the kids outfits too! Usually always great bargains.)

Thank you to everyone who has been following along on our jouney. I have so much planned for the Spring and can’t wait to share!
