January through April is birthday extravaganza for my family. My sister’s birthday starts us off in January, my husband’s birthday is in February, and then everyone else except for Braxton’s birthday is in March. Braxton ends the birthdays with his in April. So with all the birthday’s so close together, I’ve been looking up birthday freebies or discounts to celebrate for cheap! Plus I’ve found some fun events for babies that I thought I’d share in case anyone else has birthday’s coming up… (I know there are tons more, but these are just the ones I’ve used!)

For Adults:

Kendra Scott: It’s not free, but it’s a great discount! 50% off any one item during the month of your birthday. You have to go in stores, but I love that you can technically use this discount twice a year since you can have your husband use it too!

Alamo Drafthouse: You have to sign up for their rewards program at least 4 weeks ahead of time, (it’s free to sign up!) but you receive a free movie ticket the month of your birthday!

Red Lobster: Free dessert on your birthday! (I know a lot of restaurants will do this, but this was just was my favorite one. You can call ahead and ask or check online to see if your favorite does as well!)

Trudy’s: Free alcoholic drink on your birthday! (Must go on your actual birthday and show ID for proof of birthday.)

Denny’s: Get a free Grand Slam Breakfast on your birthday. (Must go on your actual birthday and show ID for proof of birthday.)

Ulta: Sign up for their rewards club and get a free gift during your birth month!

Painting with a Twist: Let them know when you sign up for a class that it’s your birthday or anniversary, and you’ll get a free wine glass and corkscrew! If you hold your birthday party there, (and have at least 12 people I think) then the birthday girl/guy will get their ticket for free! (This also works for other special events like a bachelorette party.)

(We went for our 1 year anniversary and got these for free.)

For Kids:

Babies R Us/Toys R Us: You can sign up for Geoffrey’s Birthday Club and each year on their birthday they can get a phone call and birthday card. If you take them in store on their birthday, you can get a crown, balloon and an announcement so everyone knows it’s their special day!

  • Bonus for One Year Olds: The second Saturday of every month, Babies R Us has a special event that you can register for online. They have a “Fun to be One” event that includes giveaways, baby races and a swag bag with snacks, coupons, a onesie and a stuffed animal. It’s so fun and a great way to meet local families with kids the same age!

Barnes & Noble: Join the kids club and get a free cupcake for their birthday! (Like most clubs, you must sign up a few weeks in advance.)

Disney: Mail Disney a birthday invite, and get a happy birthday card in the mail! It does take a few weeks to come back so you have to do it in advance, but it’s worth it for them to get some magic mail. Plus it makes for a great keepsake! (You can choose to send to either Mickey & Friends, or to the Disney Princesses. Make sure to address the letter to one of those when sending to get the correct picture!)

Disney Store: Not sure if it’s every Disney Store, but if you take you kiddo in on their birthday, you can have Mickey sing to them on the TV!

(Daddy and Baby B at the Babies R Us “Fun to be One” Event! He loved his new free stuffed animal! He also had tons of fun playing with his balloon. He would have won the baby race if he hadn’t gotten distracted halfway through…)

(They had a cute photo area set up to take pictures!)

Like I said, this is just a few! Check around to see what else you can get for free or discounted during your birthday month to get the most out of your birthday! (And you kids birthday!)

Also, if you didn’t see before, check two posts back to see about joining Influenster to get freebies every month to try out! It’s like Birchbox but better because it’s free!! (You don’t even pay shipping!) All they ask is that you review the products and give your honest opinion. Works for me!

(Manicure and Peeps both courtesy of my last box I received.)

I just got another box of stuff to try out. It’s all Origins products, which included a tube of charcoal face mask which I had been dying to try out after seeing it everywhere. I was so happy to get one for free! (My husband and I have been trying out these products every Sunday. He’s enjoying the facials as much as I am!)

(The “Origins” Box)

This box included:

High Potency Night-a-Mins: Love using this every night. It really hydrates my skin and makes it feel super soft in the morning!

Ginzing Moisturizer: I use this in the morning after washing my face, and it doesn’t make my face oily all day! It smells great and kinda tingles.

Ginzing Eye Cream: I actually haven’t used this one yet. I should though…gotta get rid of these dark circles.

Clear Improvement: This is the purifying charcoal mask. Just as great as I thought it’d be! Clears my pores out and gets rid of the impurities.

Checks & Balances: A gentle cleanser face wash. It was ok, but honestly I prefer my regular face wash.

Click here to check out Influenster and sign up for yourself! You literally don’t pay anything, and you never even enter your credit card information. I love that there are tons of things to try out, not just beauty products. My post on “Get Free Stuff” tells you more about it!

(Brax and his buddy! Adorable little boys and hunting for Easter Eggs, what could be better?)

This weekend is Easter, and there are tons of free events and Easter Egg hunts that you can go to! Check out your local churches, schools, neighborhoods and even Target and Toys R Us hold free events! We have already done our first one with a local moms group, and plan to do at least 1 or 2 more with our church and neighborhood. Happy Easter everyone!

(This little guy did great with his first “hunt”!)

(Can’t wait to make more Easter memories with my little family!)
