Not my usual baby post! Instead, I thought I’d share with ya’ll an awesome way to try out new products for free! And I mean completely free. No shipping cost, no commitments. It’s through “Influenster” You can search for it online or download the app. (Link at the bottom of the page to try it out!) They send you free stuff and all they ask is that you give your honest review of the products you receive. I received my first box soon after joining.
My first box was toilet paper from Cottonelle. Seems boring but if you think about it, toilet paper is probably one of the most important things you use everyday! And it wasn’t just one roll, they sent me a whole package of toilet paper. Really nice and soft toilet paper. We usually buy the cheapest kind from Sams to save money so this was a nice treat for us! We loved being “spoiled” by this nice change for awhile, but to be honest we probably won’t be buying it.
My second box came awhile later. It had a ton of stuff in it! Seemed like a random assortment of things. I’ll go through each one here…
McCormick’s Organic Taco Seasoning Mix:
This was super exciting for me since we use taco seasoning all the time for our ground turkey. We usually use a low sodium kind so this was a nice change of pace and I love that it’s organic. It tasted great and we’ll probably use it again!
Mott’s Applesauce:
This was super useful since Braxton could eat this! Squeeze pouches are great for on the go, and I had fight my husband for this one. He wanted it! Will probably buy more of these for the convenience.
Vera Wang Embrace Perfume:
I hardly ever wear perfume but this scent is really light so I actually like it! Probably won’t buy it though based off price.
Peeps Coconut Dipped Chocolate:
I know Peeps are one of those candy’s you either love or hate. I actually really like them. But I’m not a fan of coconut. But I do like chocolate. So I was torn on this one. Probably won’t buy it though. Was nice getting a whole package for free!
Eva-Nye Shampoo and Hair Mask:
I have to admit, I haven’t tried these yet. Will probably use the shampoo when my shampoo runs out, but I’m not sure what you do with a hair mask…anyone know? Comment or message me to let me know how to use it.
Wet n Wile Gel Polish in Peri-wink-le of an Eye:
This was definitely my favorite product of the whole box. It’s a whole bottle of nail polish (which I love doing my nails or getting my nails done) and I love trying new colors. This is a no light, no lamp needed, 1 step Gel polish that actually lasts awhile! I love the color and I love that it didn’t start chipping right away. I would buy a ton of other colors of this brand if they weren’t so costly.
Just an FYI, they seem to send you more stuff the more active you are on social media, like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Hence the name “Influenster.” They also send you e-mails to let you know when a new box is available and if you are interested. You answer a questionnaire and are entered into a drawing to receive the box. You never have to enter your credit card information, just your street address to send the package!
